The Final Blog (English Final)

The future is where we all strive to be, for if we did not we would no longer exist. When I graduate college many things will have influenced my way of life, and many more experiences will have helped me learn. College is a time to get the academic success we strive for during our years in High School. But during college we can also learn a lot more than simply what we may read in a book.
The biggest thing I expect to have learned in college is the content within the classes I have taken. The reason we go to college is to get the book knowledge that will help us in our professional lives. To say that I came to college but didn’t learn what I intended would be a waste of money and, most importantly, time. I plan to be a surgeon, and after four years of college I will have at least four more; I would just be getting started with my schooling. So four years from now I also need to have more than just the book smarts.
When I picture myself in the future, I see a man that has learned from his mistakes. I try not to make many mistakes, but when I do I make the necessary changes to not fall into the same trap twice. So the next most important thing I plan to learn in college is to learn from my blunders. I want my experience during these years to be fun and full of memories that will be with me the rest of my life. This includes the experiences that I necessarily don’t want to happen again. Not learning from my mistakes could possibly be the biggest flaw that I could possibly stumble upon.
Learning the actual content and becoming a better person through experience are what I expect to get from my first four years at school. With these I can go into the rest of my life prepared for anything the future may hold. After leaving this class I have already successfully acquired parts of both the puzzle pieces that will help live an accomplished life.
